Polacrillin Potassium
Evaron E-314 is derived from a cross-linked polymer of polycarboxylic acids as per USP/NF and features a 'K' ionic form. This high-purity polymer is used in pharmaceutical formulations as a super-fast disintegrant and dissolution improver in solid dosage forms like tablets, capsules, and pellets. It is suitable for both wet granulation and direct compression systems in tablet formulations.
Evaron E-314 is an innovative, super-fast disintegrant specially designed for acidic drugs, enhancing disintegration and dissolution in formulations.
Applications
As a Disintegrating Agent
Evaron E-314 has a very high swelling tendency upon hydration in contact with water or gastrointestinal fluids, causing fast disintegration without forming lumps. This makes it an effective tablet super-disintegrant. The required quantity ranges from 0.5% to 4.0% for fast disintegration. It can be used during the mixing or lubrication stage.
As a Dissolution Improver
Evaron E-314 breaks tablets into very small particles, increasing the effective surface area for active substance absorption and improving dissolution and bioavailability. The required quantity ranges from 2.0% to 10.0% for dissolution improvement.
